We Need Your Help!

Our goal is to empower people to do repairs themselves by giving them the knowledge, tools, and parts to do so. We want to make our information available to as many people as possible. We also want to make our parts affordable to everyone. That's where we need your help.

Our most significant expense is advertising, and most of that is Google AdWords. Every time you click on a Google ad for us, it costs us about $0.50. Believe us, those clicks add up quickly. If we didn't have to advertise with Google, we could drop many of our prices by 5-10%.

How can I help?

We'd like you to link to us. Not only does this tell your friends you like us, it also tells Google and the other search engines that you like us. The source text of the link makes a big difference to search engines. We have lots of iPod sites that link to us, but we're only #3 in Google for 'iPod Parts'. One reason is that many links to us look like this:

In exchange for your help, we'll offer you a deal. If you link to us from your blog or personal site (forums don't count), we'll give you a $15 off coupon good toward anything in our store (limit one per website). You might think of this as a bribe, but we consider it more of a democratization of our advertising spend. We'd much rather give you money than Google.
